NAPLES, FL - Rooted Family Health, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice founded by nurse practitioners Rebecca Mogensen-Kruger, MSN, FNP, APRN and Doyle Kruger, MS, FNP, APRN, is officially open and accepting new members at 2590 Northbrooke Plaza Dr, Suite 202 in Naples, Florida. The practice offers a membership-based model that gives families unlimited access to their providers for one simple, transparent monthly fee.
Rebecca and Doyle bring over 27 years of combined experience as nurse practitioners and more than 60 years of combined experience in healthcare. After spending most of their lives in Iowa, the Krugers chose Naples after recognizing the overwhelming need for affordable, relationship-centered healthcare in Southwest Florida. Their practice serves patients of all ages, from newborns through elderly years, and covers everything from routine wellness visits and chronic care management to specialized men’s and women’s health services.
Rooted Family Health operates on a Direct Primary Care model, which means patients pay a monthly membership fee based on age rather than billing through insurance. Memberships range from $40 to $125 per month for individuals, with a family cap of $350 per month. Members receive unlimited office visits, same-day or next-day appointments, 24/7 direct access to their providers by call or text, and extended appointment times that allow for thorough, unhurried care. All memberships are HSA eligible.
Rooted Family Health also partners with local small businesses to provide employee health benefits at a fraction of the cost of traditional group insurance, giving employers a way to invest in the health of their teams while keeping costs manageable.

Rebecca’s background spans obstetrics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and a decade of independently managing care for 1,200 patients in family practice. Doyle served eight years in the Army as an Airborne Ranger with two combat deployments before pursuing nursing, and he gave three more years of service in the Army Nurse Corps following 9/11. Over 18 years as a nurse practitioner, he built deep expertise in critical care, working across emergency medicine, orthopedics, and cardiology. Together, their experience creates a practice uniquely equipped to care for the full spectrum of family health needs.
